Additional Resources on Communication

After the strength of our individual relationships with Christ, one of the most vital assets in a healthy marriage is the quality of communication between spouses. Titus 3:2 tells us to “to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.” If these things are to be true of our relationships with the world at large, how much more should it be evidenced in the relationship between spouses? Unfortunately, struggles and stresses in marriage can start unhealthy patterns in the way we express ourselves.

Honestly assessing our own weaknesses, big and small, and making the effort to communicate in a way that honors the other person allows for Christ-filled relationships to grow in joy and ability to weather the storms of life that come. The following resources offer great insight and wisdom to enrich your marriage’s communication skills.
